On Sunday, Pujols welcomed fans of the Pirates after hitting the winning home run in the ninth inning.

Albert Pujols hit his 697th home run in Sunday's 4-3 victory over the Pirates. Alex Rodriguez was passed by him after the home run, and he smiled afterwards.

Matt and Samantha Brown caught the ball, according to Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat, and met Pujols after the game. On the anniversary of Samantha's father, they went to the game.
